Shot Online
Shot Online is a golf MMORPG that takes you into the a golfing world where you test your skills against other players as you level up.
Featuring realistic golf physics, players can create their golfer, train him or her up, purchase equipment or outfits, and compete in tournaments against other players. One of the most interesting features I found while playing Shot Online was the diversity in the courses you can play. They range from playing at your local public golf course to playing on a volcano, so even if your not great at golf you can still have fun with some of the intersting courses. Another aspect of the game I really enjoyed was that it felt like a real mmorpg unlike most sports games out there. In Shot Online as you level up you character gets stronger there are also quests you can do that unlock other golf courses and there is an entire online world full of golf stores and other shops for you to explore while your not on the golf course. Shot Online is designed by Games Campus and is free to download and play and has an optional item shop.
Runes of Magic
Runes of Magic is a fantasy MMORPG that I found very fun and easy to learn to play. If you like Perfect World or World of Warcraft then you will enjoy this game. Runes of Magic is set in Taborea, a land undergoing the usual turmoil. Players can run story missions, take on quests, and train their skills. There are also dungeon sieges and, for the PvPers, solo and guild on guild battles.
Notable features of Runes of Magic include a multiclass system in which players can blend character traits for more versatile fighters, player houses that grow in stature as you level, and the runes of the title, which can be applied to gear interchangeably, making one’s outfit and look truly custom.
Best of all, it’s free to play, with an optional item shop where you can buy lots of cool items such as mounts and gear.

Maple Story
I started to play Maple story the other day, Nexons popular 2D adventure game, and I have to admit I was very impressed. When I first saw this 2D cartoon looking type game I figured it was not going to be very interesting becasue it seemed like it was a game designed more for the younger gaming audience, but I was very much wrong. There were quite a few things I really enjoyed about Maple Story. One of them was the game UI, it was very easy to understand and navigate through the game with it. The graphics I felt were also very appleaing considering it is only a 2D game. You start off in the world of Maple Story by designing the look of your character. After you have designed your character your start off at Maple Island where you will learn from the NPC’s simple hunting skills and basic controls that will help you ease into the game. Then, you’ll board the ship that heads to Victoria Island, and that’s where your journey REALLY begins. Now you must make the most important decesion you will ever make in Maple Story and that is which of the 5 classes you are going to choose to be. You can pick from Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, and Pirate. I decided to go with the Bowman becasue he seemed the most badass in my opinion. Once you have your class its time to go out and start your own adventure in the world of Maple Story. Aion: The Tower of Eternity
Aion: The tower of eternity is the new game created by NCSoft. Set in a world divided in two, the race of the light and the race of the darkness are in a constant struggle with each other and with a third NPC race. These three races clashing together creates with many people in the gaming world are calling a pvpve type atomospher that sets it apart from other online games out there.
Aion recently won the coveted ‘Best Korean Game of the Year’ title in the Korean Game Awards for 2008. No infomation yet on a release date in the US but you can find more inforation about Aion here http://www.aiononline.com/us/
